Maureen Fogarty
Maureen Fogarty comes to Kids First Collaborative as an intake coordinator with significant experience in community counseling and human resources. She has been supporting the intake process for a university-based community counseling center for the past three years. Maureen previously worked in nonprofit and philanthropic human resources working in benefits, payroll, and talent management, and has over 8 years of experience handling private information with the utmost confidentiality. She has an undergraduate degree from Elmhurst College in Marketing and provides emotionally focused tutoring for children 11-16 years-of-age who are struggling with online learning. She has certificates in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), 40-hour Crisis Intervention Training, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Practices in Human Resources (PHR), and is currently pursuing her Level One Theraplay Certification as well as certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Informed Yoga Certification. Maureen is graduating with a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May of 2021.
